Responsibilities:

Developing an overall architecture and design for an Apache Iceberg solution  Developing tech specs for all aspects of the solution  Deploying Apache Iceberg on top of S3 storage layer  Developing a data pipeline to load the data into Iceberg filesystem from an Oracle db  Implementing a semantic layer StarBurst on top of Iceberg  Connecting semantic layer to Tableau for reporting  Developing a UT and SIT approach  Investigating various data cataloging options available for Iceberg 

Required: 

Big Data implementation experience any platform 5 yrs  Apache Iceberg implementation experience  1 full lifecycle implementation  Big Data data modeling HIVE Iceberg Developing data pipeline for Big Data platforms Semantic layer implementation DeNodo Trino Starburst 3 yrs 6  Snowflake skills
