Job Title: Data Architect Experience: 10+ years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in Azure, Databricks, Master Data Management (MDM), Databricks Warehouse, Data & Delta Lakes, ADLS, and Power BI to design and implement modern cloud-based data architectures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data security, observability, and scalable cloud architectures to support enterprise-wide analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Engineering: + Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures on Azure and Databricks. + Architect and optimize Data Lakes and Delta Lakes for efficient data processing and analytics. + Develop and manage Databricks Warehouse for structured and semi-structured data. + Ensure seamless integration of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions for data consistency. Cloud & Data Platform Strategy: + Define cloud-based data architectures leveraging Azure services such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and ADLS. + Implement data governance, security policies, and access controls across enterprise data assets. + Work with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud adoption, optimization, and cost efficiency. + Implement Performance and cost optimizations Data Security, Compliance & Observability: + Implement data security, encryption, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA). + Ensure data observability by implementing monitoring, alerting, and logging for proactive issue resolution. + Establish best practices for data lineage, quality, and metadata management. Reporting & Analytics Enablement: + Enable enterprise-wide reporting and analytics using Power BI and other BI tools. + Optimize data pipelines and queries to support real-time and batch processing for BI and AI models. + Provide guidance on self-service BI adoption and scalable semantic modeling. Collaboration & Leadership: + Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to align data architecture with business goals. + Mentor and lead teams in best practices for data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and cloud deployments. + Stay ahead of industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies in data architecture and cloud computing. Required Skills & Qualifications: + 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, and Cloud Solutions. + Expertise in Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Databricks, ADF, and Synapse Analytics. + Strong expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, and MDM principles. + Experience with Databricks Warehouse and lakehouse architecture. + Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark for data processing and transformation. + Hands-on experience in data security, access controls, encryption, and compliance. + Experience in data observability tools, logging frameworks, and monitoring solutions. + Expertise in Power BI for data visualization, modeling, and dashboarding. + Strong knowledge of cloud architectures, data governance frameworks, and data pipelines (ETL/ELT). + Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for data deployments. + Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and stakeholder management. + Strong experience in Kafka, Event Hubs, and streaming architectures. Preferred Qualifications: + Certifications: Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, Databricks Certified Professional, or equivalent. + Experience with AI/ML model deployments and setting up data science workbench. + Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
