The Data and Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of business intelligence strategies and initiatives to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. What Success Looks Like:

Develop and execute a comprehensive Database and BI strategy aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate with executives and department heads to identify data needs and opportunities for leveraging data. Advocate for a data-driven culture across the organization. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BI analysts, database developers, and database administrators. Define team priorities, assign tasks, and ensure timely project delivery. Foster professional growth within the Database and BI team by providing training and development opportunities. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of databases, data warehouses, dashboards, and reporting systems. Work with the business to keep database environments current enough to avoid end of life/end of support. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data within BI platforms. Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. Evaluate and select BI tools and technologies to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities. Oversee data modeling and data visualization efforts. Coordinate with Data Integration team to determine best solution for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Database and BI systems. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of BI initiatives. Provide regular reports and analyses to support strategic planning and operational improvements. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement through data insights.

Your Credentials:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 8+ years of relevant experience business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles, preferably with two or more years in a leadership role. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Proficiency in BI tools such as Microsoft BI Stack, Oracle Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, QlikView, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of MS SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $180,000 with bonus potential.
