ENVIRONMENT: DRIVE the delivery of the team’s data products, with a focus on retail and commercial businesses of a cutting-edge of Energy Specialist seeking your expertise as its next Data & Analytics Manager. The role will function as the key interface between executives and Department Heads in the retail and commercial businesses, the Data Engineering and Visualisation team and Data owners and underlying systems including Finance and IT. The ideal candidate will take an analytical, results-driven approach to problem solving, be able to break down complex concepts and explain them in a simple way and can communicate confidently with and influencing senior stakeholders. You will require 5-10 years of delivering analytics in a Consulting, Financial Services, Data Science or Corporate Strategy role including having managed small multi-disciplinary Project teams.   DUTIES: Design bespoke analyses to answer key strategic questions and insightful dashboards and reports to deliver regular and timely insight, in conjunction with senior management end users. Build prototypes in Excel and other tools to demonstrate viability, test calculations and guide the Engineering and Visualisation teams. Manage data product creation projects independently from concept to delivery, working with contributors from across the business. Work with end users to ensure successful adoption of Data & Analytics products. Support efforts to build a data culture within the business. Engage Finance teams and Data owners to ensure definitions and calculations are valid and initiate data quality improvements where required.   REQUIREMENTS: 5-10 Years of delivering analytics in a Consulting, Financial Services, Data Science or Corporate Strategy role. Management of small multi-disciplinary Project teams. Energy industry experience preferred but not required.   ATTRIBUTES: Take an analytical, results-driven approach to problem solving.
