Data Analytics Advisor
Description The Data Analytics Advisor role focuses on technical execution of our client's data and analytics roadmap. They will become a subject matter expert on our Sales and Account Management technology stack, the underlying data, and its architecture. They will be responsible for leading data projects and managing/analyzing large datasets to provide actionable insights and drive business growth. They will also be responsible for presenting information to executive stakeholders. Data Management: • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure the integrity, security, scalability, and quality of our data products. • Contribute to the ongoing design and development of the data pipelines and design of the reporting layers that serve as a source of truth to our client's sales data for the organization. • Write efficient SQL and Python code in a collaborative team environment • Ensure data is shared securely and legally by being an expert on the internal firewall policies and business sensitivities and implementing those rules into our data sharing patterns. • Contribute to design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipeline Insights Delivery: • Analyze complex datasets to uncover meaningful insights and trends. • Develop, present, and maintain interactive and intuitive Tableau dashboard reporting suites for individual contributors and executives within the organization. • Develop end user applications with Alteryx • Work with activation team to present insights to stakeholders and ensure the expected value of the work is being delivered. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Proven experience working on a data management team, including writing SQL and Python code in a collaborative environment (Git/Github) • Strong understanding of data governance, quality, and DRY coding practices. • Proficiency in Tableau or other similar data visualization software. • Experience with Alteryx as an application and integration tool (e.g. building interactive applications for end users on a server using APIs to interact with different technologies) • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools. • Strong communications skills with ability to present complex data insights effectively. • Thrives in a fast pace environment and demonstrates ability to quickly learn and adapt to frequent changes in business requirements. • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex data sets and distill actionable insights from the data. • A self-starter: demonstrated ability to take accountability for assigned tasks end-to-end (for example, willing to independently explore a business need/challenge, design/present solution, develop, deliver insights, measure impact and value). • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively collaborate and prioritize needs. • Strong work ethic and a high drive and focus: demonstrated optimism and determination when facing challenges; ability to learn new processes Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $52.88/hr.
