The successful candidate will support the Customer Operation Applications team by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to customer service, billing, and operational efficiency (including metering, field work management or enterprise asset management applications). This role will assist in working on real use-cases (e.g. process pain points), identifying trends, developing reports, and providing insights to improve customer satisfaction, user efficiency and optimize business processes. Internships at Veolia: Gain hands-on experience in at least one career function from Corporate, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain or Technology. Internships are focused on learning and exposure to fundamental business processes and procedures. **Primary Duties/Responsibilities:** + Data Extraction and Cleaning : + Extract data from various sources (e.g., customer databases, meter reading systems, mobile workforce management data) and cleanse/validate it to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis. Desired Outcome: Reliable and high-quality data for accurate reporting and analysis. + Data Analysis and Reporting : + Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in customer operations data. Develop and generate reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights. Desired Outcome: Actionable insights for improving customer service, operational efficiency, and decision-making. + Support Application Performance Monitoring : + Assist in monitoring the performance of customer operation applications, identifying data-related issues, and supporting troubleshooting efforts. Desired Outcome: Proactive identification and resolution of data-related application performance issues. + Process Improvement Support : + Analyze data to support process improvements in customer operations and support the implementation of data-driven solutions. Desired Outcome: Streamlined processes, reduced costs, and improved customer satisfaction. + Documentation : + Document data sources, data dictionaries, and analysis methodologies to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain data integrity. Desired Outcome: Clear and comprehensive documentation for data governance and future reference. + Collaboration : + Collaborate with other teams (e.g., IT, customer service, field operations) to understand data needs and provide data-driven support.
