Description We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with over seven years of experience to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Power BI, data modeling, and SQL technologies to support dynamic reporting needs. Responsibilities: • Design and develop comprehensive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business decision-making. • Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. • Create and manage robust data models to ensure accurate reporting and efficient data handling. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Utilize Azure SQL Database and Microsoft SQL Server to manage and manipulate large datasets. • Write and optimize T-SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data. • Monitor and maintain the integrity and accuracy of data within business intelligence systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality and reporting. • Provide documentation and training to ensure the effective use of BI tools and reports. • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence. Requirements • A minimum of seven years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence, demonstrating attention to detail. • Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard creation and reporting. • Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices. • Experience working with Azure SQL Database and Microsoft SQL Server. • Advanced skills in T-SQL for handling complex queries and data manipulation. • Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to derive meaningful insights. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Familiarity with troubleshooting data quality and reporting issues.
