About the role
Our team, Global Product Analytics, provides the right tools, infrastructure, thought-leadership and coaching to the product organization to co-create deep insights driving the evolution of our product portfolio. We live and breathe the culture of continuous improvements and believe that data is valuable only when it becomes an actionable insight changing someone’s decision, so we take a very practical and value-focused approach to everything we do.
As a Product Analyst, you'll combine your love of data with great business judgment, packaged together by your excellent communication skills to supercharge the evolution of our product portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Structure business problems into distinct data analyses (ie, a set of hypotheses that can be tested)
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of insights from data analyses
Communicate your findings and recommendations in a compelling manner (eg, charts, presentations) and persuade others to action them
Ensure that business stakeholders can self-serve their answers quickly and accurately (ie, iteratively build and test dashboards with our internal ‘customers’ to provide insights at scale)
Develop and automate (!) reports to make sure all key metrics are moving in the right direction (and be able to catch and explain if they do not)
Use your strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail to continually improve the quality of our data feeds
Constantly look for opportunities to deliver more value to our customers and jointly build the workplace of the future (eg, by leveraging tools like ML)
Always build robust, repeatable and scalable analyses that others can build on (ie, version-controlled, well documented, zero-defect)
Requirements:
At least 2 years of related experience pulling data from a variety of large datasets and using statistics to arrive at an insight
Strong applied knowledge of either SQL or Python (for data analysis and scripting)
Strong business judgment and a deep interest in data, metrics and analysis
Curious and structured problem-solver keen to challenge the status quo
Great team player with excellent communication skills
Understanding of web analytics (DOM, CSS, HTML)
Experience with AWS big data architecture (eg, ETL, AWS Redshift, Sagemaker)
Experience with business intelligence reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
Knowledge of good data governance and various data warehouse methodologies
