We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. This role will bridge the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions, focusing on developing and implementing effective reporting and analytics capabilities. The successful candidate will leverage their strong advanced analytical skills to build insightful reports, provide market intelligence, and create predictive models to mitigate risks and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
+ Work with the data and metrics analyst to pull data from various sources, analyze and interpret data, and help leadership make decisions to drive business forward.
+ Take manual, repetitive Excel reports and translate them into dashboards and metrics.
+ Work on various special projects across the enterprise or within the organization.
+ Identify areas of opportunity, develop, and transform data and artifact visualization.
+ Lead and design initiatives that are not fully defined or outlined and show measurable success.
+ Be flexible and agile, ready to take on and lead opportunities as they arise from leadership requests or identified gaps.
+ Exhibit a learning attitude, collaborative behaviors, and anticipate and view process improvements holistically.
+ Communicate with executive leadership and prepare necessary and relevant material strategically designed for targeted audiences.
+ Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to interpret data, trends, and KPIs.
+ Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve service, procurement, cost savings, and other areas.
+ Collaborate with IT, supply chain, and other teams to implement analytics platforms and automation tools.
+ Identify and integrate new technologies, such as AI and machine learning, to enhance forecasting, demand planning, and supply chain visibility.
+ Lead initiatives to streamline purchasing service processes.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
+ 5+ years experience as a data scientist or analyst.
+ Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and database concepts.
+ Experience with ERP tools such as SAP.
+ Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Think Cell, Qlik Sense).
+ Experience with AI, machine learning, and automation tools.
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Master's Degree (Nice to have).
+ Creative thinker and willing to think outside the box.
+ Experience with market intelligence and predictive modeling.
+ Ability to clearly articulate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role, currently requiring 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), with flexibility to adjust onsite days for team meetings or supplier visits. The dress code is business casual, with khakis/dress pants and button-down shirts or blouses acceptable. Work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $43.00/hr.
