In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining data analytics projects, enabling our client to deploy reports and advanced analytics. Your expertise will be crucial in transforming vast datasets into actionable insights, empowering our clients to achieve their business goals. You will help guide and support your team in creating and managing dashboards and reports, ensuring data quality and integrity, and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet business requirements. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing our data models and analytical capabilities, driving the success of our data-driven initiatives.

As a Data Analysis and Analytics, Senior Associate – Azure, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with IT and Business Teams to define Data Models and Improve Data Analytical Capabilities; Partner with client business analysts to define and refine data models. Work together to expand the organization's capacity for deep data analysis and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.Design, Develop, and Maintain Data Analytics and Reporting Solutions: Create sophisticated analytics insights that transform vast datasets into actionable insights. Develop comprehensive reporting mechanisms that consistently monitor data accuracy and generate reliable business intelligence.Ensure Data Quality and Integrity in Reporting and Analytics: Implement rigorous validation processes to guarantee the precision of data used in analytics and reporting.Work with Various Stakeholders to Understand Business Requirements and Translate Them into Technical Specifications: Collaborate closely with business units to comprehend their data needs. Translate these requirements into detailed technical plans that guide the development of data solutions.Create and Manage Dashboards and Reports That Provide Actionable Insights: Craft dynamic Power BI and third-party dashboards and reports that not only visualize data but also drive decision-making with clear, actionable insights.Provide Guidance and Support to Junior Data Analysts and Other Team Members: Serve as a mentor and leader to less experienced data analysts. Offer support and guidance to ensure the team's continuous professional growth and the overall enhancement of analytical competencies.Collaboration: Work closely with our client’s business stakeholder, data engineers and data scientists, AI researchers, and software engineers.Experience and skills you’ll use to solve
Strong experience in data analysis and business intelligence: Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data trends and translating insights into strategic business decisions. Skilled in utilizing BI tools to create impactful data visualizations and reports.Proficient in leveraging Microsoft Azure Analytics ecosystem tools to transform raw data into informative, easy-to-understand visual reports, enhancing decision-making processes.Experience with SQL and data modeling: Well-versed in SQL querying and experience at constructing robust data models that streamline and optimize data retrieval and storage.Knowledge of data warehouse design and ETL processes: Familiar with designing scalable data warehouses and implementing efficient ETL processes to support data integrity and analytics.Ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures: Capable of managing and analyzing large volumes of data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in complex data environments.Microsoft Certifications on PowerBI, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Engineer are highly desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail: Proven ability to identify and resolve data-related issues with precision, ensuring the highest quality of data analysis.Strong communication and presentation skills: Effective communicator, able to present complex data insights in a clear and persuasive manner to stakeholders at all levels.When applying to a Quebec based opportunity, fluency in French is required.
