Work you'll do Deloitte is seeking a candidate to develop, design, and build Tableau based solutions supporting our Federal Client's ability to meet mission reporting requirements. The BI developer must be capable of working with a diverse group of stakeholders performing high level and detailed analysis, defining and writing programs using Tableau, MS-SQL, and able to leverage APIs. The candidate must be able to design dashboards with advanced Tableau functionality built with end user functionality in mind. Additionally, the candidate will perform system integration and deployment activities. Duties and Responsibilities: + Design, development, testing and deployment of Tableau Dashboards + Work independently to create BI dashboard solutions + Structure ambiguous business problems and recommend visualization solutions + Leverage advanced Tableau functionality (parameters, actions, tooltip modifications, API, etc.) to create analytical dashboards. + Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/ business analysts to define technical and process requirements + Build effective working relationships with team members The team Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact. The GPS Analytics & Data Operations (AI&DO) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights. Qualifications Required: + Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline, or equivalent experience + 4+ years of experience with Tableau or similar BI tools. + 2+ years of hands on experience with Tax Administration and operations analytics + 1 year experience with state income tax agency + Limited immigration sponsorship may be available For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Maryland, Nevada, New York state, Washington DC, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Maryland, Nevada, New York state, Washington DC, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,225 to $155,375. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
