Job Description

Are you a passionate geotechnical engineer who wants to contribute to challenging and interesting projects that provide direct value to our communities? Do you have experience in the dam space and looking to join a high performing team? With recurrent project wins and a strong pipeline of works, we are seeking a motivated Professional Dam Engineer to join our Brisbane AECOM Dams Team.

Your role will involve:

Geotechnical analysis and conceptual to detailed design of water dams, retarding basins, service basins.Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams including review and surveillance of monitoring dataSafety reviews of existing dams, retarding basins and service basinsParticipating in the scoping and undertaking of geotechnical investigations, including interpretation of foundation conditions and characterising the engineering properties of foundation and construction materialsConstruction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting.Supporting lasting relationships with our clients

Qualifications

Ideally, you will have:

A degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or a related disciplineDemonstrated capability in geotechnical design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications.Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills Well developed planning and organisational skills.

Additional Information

Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 (Total package, dependent on experience)
