Work Responsibilities: 

This position will work on-site, Monday-Friday.

Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items based on established schedules and priorities.

Physically verify the quantity, condition, and location of items in stock.

Accurately record inventory counts and adjustments into the inventory management system or relevant software.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Report any variances to the Inventory Specialist and/or Manager for further action.

Assist in reconciling discrepancies by analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records of cycle counts, adjustments, and inventory-related activities.

Generate and provide regular reports on inventory accuracy and cycle count results to management.

Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency in inventory management and suggest improvements to the Inventory Manager.

Collaborate with other departments, such as inventory specialists, warehouse/fulfillment, and production, to ensure accurate inventory data.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing inventory counts.

Perform replenishment and put away tasks.

Support in picking of orders based on resource requirements for fulfillment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

High school diploma or GED required.

2+ years of previous experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, or inventory management preferred but not required.

Demonstrates understanding of personal computers and competence in standard office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.

Experience with inventory software preferred.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and data entry.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication, written and verbal, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Physical ability to lift and move items as required during the counting process.

Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices. 

Physical Requirements: 

​​Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds 

​​Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch  

​​Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods  

​​Ability to operate heavy equipment including pallet jackets, forklifts, etc.
