Associates who embody our core values fit in well here and we are eager to meet candidates who demonstrate behaviors that align with Trust, Ownership, Growth, Empathy, Teamwork, Heart, Enjoyment, and Relationships. **About the Role:** Responsible for managing and leading the Cybersecurity Engagement Function with direct oversight of the Cybersecurity Department’s agile methodologies, product security, training and awareness, and metrics and reporting. You and your team will ensure that our business and information technology partner projects are delivered securely through threat modeling, engaging the appropriate cybersecurity teams, and tracking progress against those efforts through an agile methodology that delivers overall status reporting and tracking against our key performance indicators. + Responsible for securityengagementand liaison between Cybersecurity and our Business / IT partners on all new project efforts. Provide threat modeling and security control gap identification that results in downstream work across the various teams to delivery secure products. + Lead agile methodology practices across the cybersecurity organization (Kanban). + Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals, milestones, and being accountable for them. + Oversee program level reporting and tracking against the Cybersecurity program areas. + Develop management level reports aligned to the various risk committees on our progress against the future state control maturity. Identify trends and early indicators of issues and escalate or report to management as appropriate. + Oversee cybersecurity training and awareness focused on Enterprise and Customer facing programs + Responsible for the definition of key performance indicators / key risk indicators and the regular cadence of reporting against those metrics. + Facilitate and liaise with technology leaders, key corporate risk groups (including Internal Audit, Corporate Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, Legal, and IT GRC) to ensure Cybersecurity is aligned with these groups and meeting obligations. + Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. + Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training. + Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations as applicable to this job description. + May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert. + Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words. + Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate. + Embraces our vision to become “Business Bank of Choice” + May perform other duties as assigned. **About** **You:** + Bachelor's Degreein Computer Science or equivalent required. + 3-10 years of experience or a combination of information security, IT audit, or information technology operations required. + 4-7 years of supervisory experience required. + Ability to demonstrate expert level communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and leadership skills to influence outcomes and foster relationships to achieve common objectives. + Ability to set direction, resolve conflict, and execute with limited information and ambiguity across a large organization. + Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a matrixed environment. + Experience with customer support and/or sales. + Strong analytic skills and fact-based decision making. + Proven ability to communicate complex information in simple terms. + Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize requests and workload accordingly. + Management-level knowledge of the following cybersecurity domains: + Compliance and Governance + Identity and Access Management + Application Security + Network Security + Data Security + Cybersecurity Operations + Experience evaluating controls relative to IT and information security frameworks such as CIS, ISO 27002, SOX, NIST 800 series, or financial services regulatory frameworks such as the FFIEC IT booklets and Cybersecurity Assessment Tool (CAT). + Preferred certifications include CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, or SANS GIAC. **Workstyle:** Fully onsite. **Our** **Benefits:** We offer a competitive total rewards package including basewagesand comprehensive benefits. Thepayrange for this role is $100,462.95 to $186,574.05, and the pay rate for theselected candidate isdependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
