The Work :
As a Cyber Systems Security Engineer Staff, you will lead the technical aspects across BLQ-10 systems, focusing on enhancing cybersecurity through modern solutions.
Key responsibilities include :
- Ensure system compliance with applicable customer Baseline Requirements Document (BRD), which is based on NIST 800-53 cybersecurity controls.
- Design cyber artifact solutions to streamline the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and obtain Interim Authority to Test (IATT), and accelerate Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals.
- Respond to customer requests for information (RFIs)
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop technical cybersecurity strategies.
- Perform Cyber Performance verification testing (CYPVT) to validate pass/fail metrics for various cyber controls implemented within the system.
- Decompose cyber requirements into modern cyber solutions.
- Design and oversee the implementation of cybersecurity solutions across BLQ-10 systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop technical cybersecurity strategies.
- Educate program engineers on implementing cybersecurity features within BLQ-10 systems.
- Perform Agile/SAFe functions as Product Owner and Scrum Master. managing tasking for a number of supporting cybersecurity engineering subcontractors.
- Perform Cost Account Management (CAM) for cyber control accounts.

-This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
-This position will involve around 20% travel to our customer sites.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field.
- Minimum of 7+years of relevant cyber security, systems and/or software engineering experience.
- Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II. Certification or higher (e.g. CompTIA Security+ or CISSP)
- Proficiency in customer requirements.
- Proficiency in Risk Management Framework proven via successful RMF ATO or equivalent accreditations.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with internal members and external customers
- Ability to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance prior to starting this position. Obtaining a Security Clearance requires US citizenship.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with earned value management, performing as control account manager (CAM) planning and controlling budgets
- Experience utilizing JIRA in SAFe/Agile framework
- Experience developing relationships with customers and key stakeholders both internal and external
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Eligibility DoD security clearance

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $118,700 - $209,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
