Cyber Account Executive - Air Force

Red River is seeking an Air Force cyber focused account executive to drive the expansion of our cybersecurity technology solutions portfolio throughout the Air Force commands. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Air Force structure, cybersecurity industry, and a proven track record of driving growth in a technology-focused role. This role involves strategic planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on cyber growth opportunities. The primary objective of this role is to drive new revenue streams for Red River.


Primary Responsibilities:


1.  **Strategic Planning: ** Develop and execute a growth strategy for our cybersecurity technology solutions across the Air Force, including short-term and long-term objectives.

2.  **Partnerships and Alliances: ** Build and maintain strategic partnerships with cybersecurity technology vendors, fostering collaboration and revenue generating relationships.

3. **Sales Enablement: ** Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create sales enablement materials, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies.

4. **Customer Engagement: ** Engage with key Air Force Leadership to understand their cybersecurity technology needs and provide solutions that meet those requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree8+ years of enterprise selling in the Air Force

This position identifies and develops strategic relationships with partners and potential customers. Is responsible, along with overall sales team, for company meeting annual defined pipeline and sales objectives in target markets.​​ 

Primary Position Tasks:  

Works directly with the Air Force CISOs and other IT Staff to find the needs of the department.  Assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new customers and projects in accounts through direct and indirect customer contact and prospecting.  Works with marketing, capture, and other technical staff to implement business development initiatives.  Creates and close new direct client opportunities via extensive customer calls and meetings Nurtures and expand partner relationships and create new partner opportunities Joins industry groups and attend industry networking events’  Demonstrate ability to put together compressive account plans and strategy Great insight into industry trends for cloud computing, consumptive models and creative financing options Demonstrates a consultative sales approach by possessing a detailed understanding of the marketplace along with the business acumen to solve customer problems Familiar with existing industry CRM applications Actively engaged in pipeline development, opportunity management/forecasting and demand generation Familiar with OEM business processes negotiating discount structures Ability to demonstrate strong presentation skills and lead customer facing meetings Responsible for relationship development to build a sales pipeline Generation of teaming arrangements and bid strategy  Establish and cultivate the sales pipeline for tangible opportunities based on current market 

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:  

Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 10 years of outside selling in the IT market  Extensive relationships with relevant technology partners and customers Must be able to proactively network, prospect, and sell to multiple contacts including “C” levels Demonstrated consistent and successful achievement of quota versus plan This position has significant incentive opportunity through successful revenue/margin attainment 

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience: 

Previous sales experience  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

Strong writing skills required Some previous understanding of government and technology strongly preferred Willingness to prospect aggressively Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations Capability to research targets, opportunities, funding streams, etc. Willingness to take direction and learn

Special Requirements:  
This position can be based anywhere in the US, with up to 50% travel to customer and partner sites.
