Communicate with customers and vendors in order to monitor flow of shipment movement while providing excellent customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Demonstrate and respond in a timely, professional and courteous manner to all customer inquiriesCommunicate effectively and clearly with all customers, government agencies, and partnersEffectively handle a high volume of incoming calls and written communicationsProvide accurate and complete information to customersMaintain accurate records by documenting all customer interactions into core computer systemCoordinate offsite services with local agencies in various markets as neededPrioritize workload to meet required deadlinesBuild sustainable relationships of trust through open, honest, and interactive communicationAbility to work overtimeJob Skills Required:
A minimum of 2 years face-to-face or telephonic customer service experience in a metric driven organization required Military and/or transportation industries experience preferredExperience in a multi-dimensional role where customer contact is both written and verbalExcellent verbal and written customer service and communication skillsExceptional ability to identify, analyze, and creatively solve problemsAbility to multi-task and manage time effectivelyAbility to diffuse confrontation and create a win-win outcomeStrong phone contact handling skills and active listeningAbility to respond professionally and effectively to a wide variety of customer personality typesSelf-motivated; works with urgencyOther Duties & Responsibilities:

Education & Experience:
High School diploma required; 2 years plus experience in relocation or closely related customer service industry required; highly customer service oriented; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Computer Operations:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
