Sentara Health is hiring a Full-Time, Customer Service Representative!

Status: Full-Time, permanent position (40 hours)

Working hours: 8 am to 6 pm EST, M-F

Location: *HYBRID* 1330 Sentara Park in Virginia Beach, VA for the first 6 months of training. After training, the position is remote and requires 2 days on site per month.

Job Summary

Primarily responsible for handling incoming calls to effectively address eligibility, claim, and payment issues. May be required to provide off-phone assistance to customers and department leadership. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to assist callers and update billing information, establish payment plans, screen callers for financial assistance, and resolve charge and payment inquiries.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent2 years of experience with customer service within a healthcare settingPrevious experience with data entryPre-employment screening requiredMust be able to start on March 17, 2025
