**Job overview and responsibilities:**
Customer Service Representative will be a key customer contact at the airport and be responsible for ensuring that our United Airlines core4 principles (Safe, Caring, Dependable, Efficient) are maintained and extended to all customers traveling on United Airlines flights - Every Customer, Every Flight, Every Day. Duties will include an all-rounded oversight of the following Airport Operations functions: customer experience, lobby, ticketing, gate, baggage services, international departures and arrivals, cargo operations, ramp, cabin service, station operations center, automated facilitation controls, operations management, premium services, lounge.
+ Checking-in and processing of passengers and baggage onto flights
+ Ensuring that passengers are in possession of valid documentation for travel
+ Meeting and boarding flights, assisting passengers wherever required
+ Assigned other duties in Customer Services as and when required to meet operational demands ensuring the smooth running
+ Baggage service office activities
+ Baggage make-up area inspection and supervision
+ Ramp operations
+ Station Operations Center duties
+ Other assigned duties and responsibilities by the station management
**This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be rewarded.**
**Qualifications**
**Education**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent school leaving certificate required
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
**Knowledge/Skills**
**Required**
+ A proven track record of reliability
+ Professional image and appearance
+ Outstanding customer service skills
+ Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
+ Keyboard skills
+ Confident communication skills
**Experience**
+ Previous airport operations experience preferred
**Other**
+ Must be flexible to work all shifts and, when necessary, available 7 days a week / 24 hours a day, including holidays and weekends, to deal with any operational and /or unforeseen situations
+ Must be legally authorized to work in China for any employer without sponsorship
+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
