Customer Service Representative
Description We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to join our government sector team located in Rialto, California. As a Customer Service Representative, your primary duties will involve addressing customer inquiries, maintaining up-to-date customer records, and ensuring the smooth operation of customer accounts. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Efficiently handle inbound and outbound customer calls • Ensure prompt and accurate data entry of customer information • Assist customers by resolving their issues effectively • Utilize customer service software to manage customer interactions • Maintain a high level of customer service through email correspondence • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required • Manage order entry operations diligently • Use Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks • Schedule appointments as per the needs of the customers. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the government sector. • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, handling both inbound and outbound calls. • Demonstrated experience in call center customer service. • Strong skills in customer service and ability to manage customer queries efficiently. • Proven experience with data entry tasks and order entry. • Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and timely. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. • Experience in scheduling appointments, managing calendars and coordinating meetings. • Familiarity with customer service software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
