Job Description
Albemarle is hiring for a Customer Service Representative. This position is hybrid and located in Budapest.
The Customer Service Representative will have an executing role in ensuring a best-in-class order fulfilment and related processes to deliver value and performance for our internal, external customers, Business Units and Albemarle while striving for excellence and continuous improvement. The role focuses on Key Account Management or a specific geographical region. This role reports to the Customer Service Team Leader within the Integrated Supply Chain Service Delivery Team.
What You Will Do:
Receive & enter order into processing system and confirm shipments (road, rail, air, sea)Keeping Customers updated on the status of their Purchase OrdersFollow-up on deliveries of products with Logistics Interfacing internally (Sales, Business Management SCM, etc.) and externally (customers, agents, terminals, warehouses, freight forwarders, etc.)Addressing forecast vs demand gaps to Business Management Ensuring on time invoicing and supporting on time payment effortsPrepare and check required documents necessary for transport, customs, shipping, and bankingComplaint Management and managing E2E communicationReturn Order ManagementSample Order ManagementSales invoicing processes (Credit & Debit Management)Ensuring on time Return Fleet Management processCoordinate intercompany orders (if applicable)Working closely with Sales team to manage the accountsReviewing all documentation/agreements related to a customer and monitoring the implementation of new accountsActing as first point of contact for all levels of assigned accounts and managing all aspects of processing any customer requestsSupporting sales team with Sales order data or any other; meeting document preparations related to the specific accountParticipating in Customer MeetingsOrganizing Order/Product Launch meetings with respective customers/sales and other stakeholdersMaintaining customer’s interfaces/portalsEnsure Customer SatisfactionMentoring & train new joinersInitiate & Collect ideas for process improvementWhat You Bring
Required:
College or university degree preferably in Business/Economy or Supply Chain/Logistics Custom5+ years relevant work experience, particularly with management of export shipmentsAdvanced communication level in English (both written and verbal)Good IT skills (MS Office, SAP is an advantage)Experience in Shared Service EnvironmentCustomer Service and / or Logistics ExperienceCustomer focused attitude: meet or exceed customer’s expectations (internal/external), establishes and maintains effective relationships with customersProactive and independent, strong problem-solving skills and communication abilitiesExcellent prioritizing, organizing and time management skillsSupportive attitude, develops and maintains positive relationships with all business partnersEnsuring Process Compliant day-to-day operationCompliance & Quality InsuranceOwnership of the end-to-end processesAccuracyPreferred:
