The Airport Operations department keeps operations at our airports running smoothly through planning, organization, and supervision.

Key responsibilities

Provide assistance to the traveling public by performing various customer service duties in the airport terminalPrepares tickets, determines fares and routing to ensure passengers travel needs are metResponsible for daily cash and credit card salesHandle reservations and Mileage Plus inquiriesReceive and direct incoming calls, greet and direct customers, tag and handle bagsRequired to staff ticket counter, boarding gates, and baggage claim areaSecurity Screen baggage and passengersAssist with cabin inspections and cleaning, lavatory servicesPerform other duties as directed by station management to provide customer service support

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

What’s needed to succeed (minimum requirements)

High school diploma/GEDMust be able to type at least 20 wpmMust possess excellent customer service skillsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be flexible to work any shift assigned within a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week operation including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (e.g. rain, heat, humidity, etc.) and in open baggage areas for extended periods of timeAbility to work where there will be exposure to high noise levelsAbility to work in a high-pressure, safety-sensitive, deadline driven environmentWilling and able to travel to the U.S. for trainingMust be fluent in English (written and spoken)Must be eligible to obtain and maintain credentials necessary for the positionMust be legally authorized to work in the Federated States of Micronesia for any employer without sponsorship Reliable, punctual attendance
