Overview
The Customer Service Representative will operate independently to manage assigned customer accounts.
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Responsibilities
Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions Accurately and in a timely fashion (within the same day) process customer transactions such as new orders, quotes or return orders Provide accurate information in a timely fashion regarding availability, price and other information for products and company policies Keep customers up to date with regards to processed orders (ship dates, delay in shipments, etc.) Maintain customer order records (purchase orders and sales order acknowledgements) and filing them accordingly Manage time effectively, meeting personal goals and working effectively with other members of the Customer Service team as well as with the various other departments and coworkers Meet all deadlines for assigned tasks and delegated projects, as assigned by the Customer Service manager Answer all incoming phone calls, responding the same day to voice messages and forwarding phone calls to the appropriate coworker when needed Follow company policies and procedures Present a professional image at all times to customers, visitors and coworkers alike Understand and perform to all quality regulations, standards and policies, including but not limited to ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003. High School diploma; associate degree or higher preferred Minimum of two years of customer service experienceDesired Characteristics, Competence and Capabilities

This position is performed in an office environment may occassionally enter manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature variation and noise Reach, push/pull, arm/wrist flexation typical to office enviromnent. Lifting requirement typically less than 5lbs May require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking May require use of Personal computer,, copy machine, other office equipment, Microsoft Office and ERP order entry software
