Customer Service Representative
Description We are seeking a diligent Customer Service Representative to become a part of our team in Fairfield, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for order processing, shipping coordination, and inventory management. You will also track orders and provide exceptional service to our customers. This opportunity offers a contract to permanent employment. Responsibilities: • Manage customer orders efficiently and ensure accurate processing. • Coordinate shipping efforts and maintain a close watch on inventory levels. • Keep track of the status of orders and maintain necessary records. • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer-related issues. • Maintain a detail-oriented approach in all customer interactions. • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills with customers. • Handle large kitchen equipment orders, primarily for detail-oriented kitchens and restaurants. Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role • Demonstrable ability to resolve customer service issues effectively • Proficiency in order entry systems and processes • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset • High level of patience when dealing with customer complaints and queries • Good understanding of customer service practices and principles • Ability to work well in a team environment • Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays • Proficient in using office productivity tools and customer service software • High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a related field would be an advantage.
