We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in customer service operations while supporting our team in various tasks, including phone and email communication, processing EDI orders, creating work instructions, and performing clerical duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. An entry level position for a high energy, detail oriented and organized individual pursing a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field of study. This role will focus on projects related to phone and email communication, processing EDI orders, creating work instructions, and performing clerical duties. Phone Support: Assist customers by answering incoming calls, addressing inquiries, and providing information about our products and services in a professional and courteous manner. Email Communication: Respond to customer emails promptly, ensuring that all inquiries are handled efficiently and effectively. EDI Order Processing: Support the team in processing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment. Work Instruction Development: Collaborate with team members to write and update work instructions for various customer service processes, ensuring clarity and consistency in operations. Clerical Tasks: Perform various clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining customer records, to support the overall efficiency of the customer service department. Customer Follow-Up: Assist in following up with customers regarding order status, inquiries, and feedback to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the customer service team to identify areas for improvement and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives. Junior/Senior during 2025-2026 school year in Business Administration, or a related field of study with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Proficient to Advanced skills with Microsoft Suite. Demonstrated history of problem-solving. Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and detail orientated. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment.
