Position Summary: Customer Service Driver plays a critical role ensuring that deliveries to our Customers are carried out in an efficient manner following specified MBUK delivery procedures. You will be the face of our company, responsible for delivering not just products, but also smiles and outstanding service to our customers. PRIOR TO DEPARTING DEPOT All vehicles must be checked for defects and reported to the transport office for the fleet engineer to get repaired. Goods must be checked they are correct and secure DURING JOURNEY The delivery schedule must be followed, with arrival and departure times logged on journey sheet or PDA if supplied Ensure that the Transport Office is informed of any problems such as delays, breakdowns or delivery problems Delivery procedures set by MBUK to be carried out e.g. checking & picking of ambient, chilled & frozen products. Product placement to be followed. Temperature checks to be carried out using probe. Unmanned deliveries ON COMPLETION OF JOURNEY Clean the inside of vehicle Refuel vehicle prior to returning to DC Park vehicle as directed by Shunter Be de-briefed about journey by Transport Office Qualifications Technical Competencies: Good level of computer literacy (Essential) Drivers CPC to be completed (Essential) Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths (Essential) Knowledge of vehicle and refrigeration system (Essential) Understanding of EC drivers’ hours & EC working time directive regulations (Essential) Experience of working with refrigerated vehicles (Desirable) At Martin Brower UK and Ireland, our commitment to our employees is unwavering.
