Customer Product Trainer – Legal AI

About the Role:

Thomson Reuters is seeking a versatile and dynamic Customer Product Trainer to join our Customer Success team. This role is ideal for legal professionals with a strong background in relationship building, communication, and presentation skills, who are eager to leverage their expertise to drive product adoption and maximize customer satisfaction. You will support our full suite of legal products, including our best-in-class AI solutions and deliver exceptional training and support to our diverse customer base.

This combined role offers a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge legal and AI technology while supporting a diverse range of customers in achieving their goals with Thomson Reuters' products.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Customer Product Trainer, you will:

Drive product adoption and usage to help customers achieve their expected ROI on Thomson Reuters’ products.

Onboard and train customers on our software, including developing customized training programs to meet specific client needs.

Utilize adult learning principles and engagement techniques during training sessions.

Provide exceptional service and support to law firm and government clients, addressing prompting troubleshooting and assistance requests.

Support revenue retention and growth by partnering with account team partners to uncover customer needs aligned with Thomson Reuters product offerings.

Communicate with internal departments to ensure client needs are met and occasionally assist prospective customers in product trials.

Maintain a high level of expertise in legal and AI-based solutions, customer workflows, product use cases, and industry trends.

Log, update, and maintain activity and customer information within our business systems.

About You:

You may be a fit for this role if your background includes:

Juris Doctorate (law degree) with bar admission in at least one state.

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a practicing attorney is preferred.

Experience with legal technology and/or AI-based software platforms is highly desired.

Strong sales and customer-centric aptitude with a revenue focus.

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

High degree of professionalism, flexibility, and adeptness at using web-based meeting tools.

Experience in adult training/education and a passion for learning about new technology and software.

A personable, positive attitude with a knack for problem-solving and helping customers.

Enjoy working on cross-functional teams and contributing to outcomes focused on positive customer experiences.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $83,090 - $154,310.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $72,100 - $133,900.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
