Element has an opportunity for a new Customer Onboarding Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector. 
  
Our Customer Onboarding Specialist will report to the Credit Control Team Leader and will be responsible for the primary support of the customer onboarding process.

 

In this position they will work with Element Labs and Customers to set up new accounts and communicate with internal and external customers effectively; ensuring that all Element policies are being adhered to during the Onboarding Process. A key element of this role is to continually strive to improve processes and make recommendations for a leaner process. 

 

Responsibilities Work with Element Labs and Credit Control team to ensure each piece of our journey meets customer expectationsConduct phone / Teams calls to ensure that customers are supported during our onboarding processIssue and adapt welcome packs to all customers Being the first point of contact within the Credit Control team for customer onboarding queries, managing the shared mailboxManage the transition of the customer to the Credit Control team after onboardingSetup of new accounts across multiple platforms and continual customer master data managementConduct credit checks with credit reference agencies and continual credit monitoringAssist in developing measurements to help understand the impact of successful onboardingAssist in creating initiatives that help to drive successful onboardingProvide support to Credit Control Team Leads and Credit Control ManagerAd hoc duties to support wider finance team and initiatives  Skills / Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

Experience in multi-site / location customer or credit supportProficiency with accounting software systemsEffective prioritization skills, and the ability to influence and direct operationsDemonstrated problem resolution skillsExcellent analytical skills and working knowledge of cash collection and credit risk processesExcellent interpersonal skills, ability to function as part of a teamAbility to remain calm when faced with deadlines and multiple priorities 

Desired skills and experience:

German or Dutch language skillsExperience of reading and giving recommendations based from credit reportsMicrosoft D365 experience  Company Overview
