Customer Master Data Analyst

**Overview**
As a Customer Master Data Analyst, you will support key data initiatives, including data preparation, analysis, and reporting. You will collaborate with collaborators to understand business needs, you will deliver solutions that drive informed decision-making. This role provides hands-on experience in developing both technical and business skills while working collaboratively with team members on a variety of data-driven projects.

**You have:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
+ Experience developing and continuously improving processes, procedures, and controls.
+ Proactive approach and ability to work independently on numerous projects/activities at the same time with minimal oversight
+ Excellent customer focus is on supporting a positive customer service climate.
+ 1+ year(s) experience in the Insurance or Financial Services sectors preferred.
**You will: (Key Responsibilities)**
**Customer Data Governance & Stewardship**
+ Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of customer master data by following data governance policies and standard methodologies.
+ Establish data quality rules, business definitions, and data lineage tracking to maintain a reliable customer master data asset.
**Data Issue Resolution & Root Cause Analysis**
+ Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues (e.g., duplicates, missing values, incorrect mappings) by working with business and IT collaborators.
+ Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements to prevent recurring data issues.
**Cross-functional Collaboration & Business Enablement**
+ Act as a liaison between data management, business users, and IT teams to ensure customer data meets business needs.
+ Support key business initiatives (e.g., marketing personalization, customer engagement, regulatory reporting) by delivering high-quality customer data
**Data Profiling & Quality Measurement**
+ Use SQL, Python, or data profiling tools to analyze customer data, detect anomalies, and generate data quality reports.
+ Define and implement KPIs to measure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
**Master Data Management (MDM) System Expertise**
+ Work with MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM, Reltio, or SAP MDG) to configure match/merge rules, hierarchies, and survivorship rules.
+ Maintain and update customer master records in accordance with defined governance standards.
**Location:**
+ Three days a week at our Guardian offices in Bethlehem, Pa.
**Salary Range:**
$57,810.00 - $86,715.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
