The Gist

 

The Off-Premise Customer Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Customer Marketing is responsible for the execution of national and regional programming for the CORE BEER Category to drive brand awareness and increase ‘rate of sale’ in trade as well as focus on top chain accounts in the eastern region.

 

What You’ll Do

Build and execute annual customer marketing plans for our top eastern off-premise accounts as well as toolkit programs for the independent channel. Leads promotional program development process for Lagunitas core IPA beer segment, ensuring all trade and consumer tactics, imagery and messaging are aligned with Brand Strategy / Guidelines. Deliver program recap reports with insights from Business Intelligence team and sales team to audit program, consumer offer redemptions and sampling results. Develop internal marketing communication e-newsletter for sales outlining current and upcoming programs. Maintain sell sheets for core beer brands quarterly in partnership with CMI, PR and Insights & Innovation teams. Collaborates with Brand Marketing, Operations and Procurement to manage seasonal promotional timeline for on-time execution in market, ensuring effective control of costs, while executing programs with the most impact to the business. Maintain project list for assigned Strategic Accounts on annual sampling plan and ensure that Customer Marketing Managers/Directors are updated on the status of program. Partners with Legal department to approve promotional programs and POS material for compliance and tie-in partnership contract approvals Work with Sales, Creative and IT departments to ensure selling tool content is posted on DAM and CRM tool on-time. Foster customer marketing agency and vendor partner relationships. Ensure program timelines and projects with creative department on delivered on-time and in full. Foster positive and collaborative relationships between creative department, marketing and sales teams

 

What We’re Lookin’ For

Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university preferred. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and drive timelines in a fast-paced environment. Hunger to learn and ability to flourish in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment. Results-driven focus and tenacious work ethic, with the drive, resolve, and urgency to do “whatever it takes” to accomplish specific goals. Strong communication skills, time management and sense of urgency. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Must be at least 21 years of age.

 

Key Relationships

Reports Director of Customer Marketing.  Daily interface and frequent interaction with Sales and Marketing teams.

 

Physical Requirements

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Typical office environment (by Lagunitas standards). Travel approximately 20% per year.
