Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all. **MAIN PURPOSE:** The Customer Development Manager is responsible for delivering net sales, volume, NPAT, and market share targets for a group of accounts. The Customer Development Manager plays an integral role in using a team approach across all functional areas (retail marketing, operations, finance, logistic) to develop business and profitable growth. **Fixed term contract till November 2026** **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** Sales Planning: + Developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics and ensuring that the sales plan takes into account a range of Colgate internal factors (e.g., brand and category strategies and objectives) and external factors (e.g., competition, economic environment, customer's strategies) + Planning specific operational sales objectives (e.g., pricing, distribution, share of shelf, volume, profitability, and market share) and other key performance indicators (e.g. gross to net, margin, forecast accuracy, account inventory levels, etc.) + Conducting detailed analysis of trends (brand share, pricing, category sales, competitive products, and promotional activity) + Working with retail marketing and customer to make decisions related to product, pricing, placement, promotion and POP materials based on promotion evaluation and shopper behaviors in the assigned account Sales Management: + Working with retail marketing to leverage trade spending and develop effective promotional and in-store programs that drive consumption off the shelf cost effectively + Monitoring sales performance, gross to net, working capital, other performance indicators and taking action to improve performance + Managing the customer(s) to grow sales, improve service and identify supply chain efficiencies by utilizing new techniques, tools, and information systems (e.g., category management, EDI etc.) + Conducting central and regional negotiations, business reviews and follow-up with regional and/or divisional representatives + Using the latest information systems and business analytical tools to support decision-making **REQUIREMENTS:** + University degree preferred + Previous practical Key Account experience within FMCG sector + Fluency in English + Ability to gain credibility and build relations with customers + The drive to continuously improve existing processes and methodsIntegrity, results oriented, self motivated, self-reliant and pro-active + Ability to achieve results through planning and priority setting + Developed analytical skills with effective decision making ability + Efficient ability to communicate well at all levels **Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion** Achieving our purpose starts with our people — ensuring our workforce represents the people and communities we serve —and creating an environment where our people feel they belong; where we can be our authentic selves, feel treated with respect and have the support of leadership to impact the business in a meaningful way. **Equal Opportunity Employer** Colgate is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, disability, marital status, veteran status (United States positions), or any other characteristic protected by law.
