Main purpose of the role

 

The Customer Contact is responsible for managing the internal flow of pieces, from receipt to shipping.

 

 

 

Essential responsibilities and duties

 

As a Customer Contact, your main responsibilities are as follow :

 

Support the Production Control and logistics team.To assist that the loading of PDP and inventory (safety stock) data is done timeously and in procedurally correct mannerAssist in reporting daily status feedback of production, shipment, and missed parts.Verify quality of data as well as consistency and variability.Prepare and create pull system Images, diagonals and picking lists on daily basis.Liase with internal customers to insure schedule requirements are understood and expeditedAttend to internal customer issues.Maintain high degrees of accuracy in SAPTo validate cycle counts as requested from time to time.Attend and support scheduled stock-takes.Any other tasks as required on ad-hoc basis.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications and position requirements

 

Education : Relevant Tertiary qualificationKnowledge and experience : 3 + years’ experience as a supervisor/ Gap leader in production in an industrial environmentKnowledge of KANBAN/ FIFO and related logistics systems.Excellent communication skillsTeam playerAbility to manage and motivate teamOwn transport and valid driver’s licenseLanguages: Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
