Customer Account Specialist

This position will provide general customer support in resolving issues, training, and ensures a positive customer experience.  This role will escalate customer feedback to improve processes and the way we do business with our customers. 

You will be working with customers primarily in North Dakota.

Virtual applicants will be considered. Candidates local to Minneapolis / St. Paul area will work a Hybrid schedule (Tues/Wed in the office).

Office Hours will be 8:00 - 5:00 central time.

Duty or Area of Responsibility:

Customer Support (65%)

Provide frontline support for customers by answering phone calls and emails in timely manner, providing information on products, services, procedures, and order fulfillment information.Ensure accuracy of seed orders, modify as needed, and work with customers or sales reps to set seed deliveries to meet fulfillment goals.Conduct on the spot training for WinField United tools and applications.Build and maintain relationships with sales staff and assigned customers to best serve their needs.Assist customers with entering orders using our online tools, or when applicable, enter orders directly in the WinField United ERP system when online is not an optionReview customer disputes and process customer invoice corrections as approved by the business.Setup LTL for customer seed stock transfers when requestedResponsible for investigating, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving customer concerns.Support data accuracy for Grower Maintenance, Seller Maintenance and JDE customer recordsMaintain dealer agreements, repack agreements and RUP licenses in the ERP system

 

Collaboration (20%)

Work cross-functionally with internal departments to improve the customer experienceExecute processes provided by leadership and business partnersEscalate repetitive customer facing concerns and provide feedback on any gaps.

Process Management (15%)

Implement process improvements that will enhance customer productivity and effectiveness.Assist in documenting updates or changes.

Required Experience/Knowledge (to be able to perform this job): 

2 years experience in accounting, customer service, or operations

 

Preferred Experience/Knowledge:

Bachelors DegreeWorking knowledge of process, data and system best practicesMust be able to work with and communicate across all levels of the organizationStrong decision making, problem solving and communication skills

Salary Range: $57,920 - $86,880

In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
