What you will do
Leading purchasing and inventory control activities and managing the procurement cycle ensuring that all materials are received on time and in accordance to defined specifications and cost, across multiple hubs. Ensure purchase orders are issued to suppliers in a timely manner and support Accounts Payable in resolving invoice discrepancies. Evaluate sourcing opportunities to drive cost reduction. Monitor and continuously improve supplier’s delivery and quality performance. Address and resolve recurring or critical issues by utilizing corrective action tools and additional resources. Host and attend regular supplier, customer, and project team meetings globally. Evaluating new vendor capability and vendor set-ups, ensuring to work with relevant internal stakeholder groups. Supporting our internal customers with their project and event requirements including sourcing and raising purchase orders for materials required, ensuring product meets brand and quality guidelines, meeting deadlines for product delivery and completing all system transactions required. Responsible for helpdesk email account and timely resolution of queries received. Supporting logistical activities within the team, working with internal and external teams and suppliers. Support artwork creation (HTML communications, print) and website update requirements Curiosity and desire for continuous learning and improvement. Proven success developing knowledge with both guided and independent learning. Advanced excel experience and analytical skills including KPI generation, identifying and reporting to Management key trends. Flexibility and ability to work independently and as part of a global team. Additional projects and activities as delegated by Management.Desired Experience
Degree level qualification in an undergraduate course or relevant experience. A minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in operational, procurement, customer service, logistics activities Fluent in English and additional language skills is a plus, Ability to work effectively with team members, customers, suppliers via phone, in person and over Zoom. Process oriented, analytical thinker with strong business acumen Strong project management skills required. Competence in full Microsoft Office Suite required, advanced Excel User, Adobe experience. Experience using a CRM and ERP system. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, and presentation skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with Senior Leadership Excellent relationship management skills, able to work across global teams, Strong customer services skills with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure. Excellent organization skills and the ability to handle multiple, competing tasks simultaneously, whilst maintaining attention to detail Completer / Finisher: persistent, reliable Committed to deliver excellent service, developing contingencies as required.
