Custodian

This is a part time 48 hour per pay period position.

The targeted pay range for this job is $19/hr - $21/hr. Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building as well as performing basic maintenance tasks to ensure safe and comfortable surroundings for our team members.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with company policies and department standards. This includes but is not limited to vacuuming, trash removal, cleaning of restrooms, cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces, window cleaning, and light carpet extraction, using approved chemicals and methods.  Performs basic maintenance duties such as moving furniture and equipment, checking boiler functions, repairs on equipment and furnishings, and basic troubleshooting. May perform basic groundskeeping duties such as using a blower to clear sidewalks, light snow removal around entrances, and light landscaping. Maintains all assigned areas in a safe manner and reports any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor or member of the leadership team. Follows all regulatory compliance standards. Maintains equipment and supply levels as needed and reports supply/equipment needs to supervisor.

Custodian Minimum Required Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping and maintenance experience
