To help the Church accomplish its religious mission, the Custodian ensures the temple and other buildings reflects the beauty, cleanliness, and sacred nature of the temple experience by maintaining standards established by the First Presidency. Employees are expected to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and Church leaders and live principles of honesty, integrity, and morality. They maintain a spirit of religious compassion towards others and an attitude of devotion to God. Employees working inside a temple must hold a current temple recommend at all times.
