General cleaning and upkeep of common spaces, restrooms, service support areas, offices, banquet halls, theaters, meeting rooms, and other areas within the facility.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cleaning public areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, elevators, stairs, glass railings, windows, and other general cleaning tasks as neededGeneral cleaning of employee areas and service support areasVacuuming, dusting, and trash removal in all areasFloor maintenance including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing and other floor tasks as neededCompleting custodial checklists as necessaryEnsuring proper use and care of cleaning equipment and machinesWorking with and directing work efforts of part time/temporary personnelOther duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and REQUIREMENTS:

Due to the varied nature of events, availability on nights, weekends and holidays may be requiredMust be able to work independently as well as direct work efforts of othersAbility to read and follow directions is a mustAbility to bend, twist and lift 25 lbs regularly is requiredMust be able to follow proper work procedures and safety requirementsAbility to troubleshoot equipment and perform simple repairs is helpful
