Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or engineering Advanced degrees or certifications in technology management or business administration are a plus – or equivalent work experience 15 years of professional experience, with 5 years minimum in technology leadership roles Deep understanding of a broad range of technologies, including information systems, software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies relevant to the conservation sector Abreast of technological trends and opportunities to foster innovation and operational efficiency in the conservation sector Ability to develop and articulate a strategic vision Ability to effectively manage projects, teams and budgets Experience in driving organisational change Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders (Exco, Board members, program managers, and external partners) Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language and build consensus around technology strategies Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and resource-constrained environment Fluent in English – spoken and written A passion for African markets Responsibilities:
