This is a PRN position that includes rotating through the various shifts as needed, You will also be required to do 2 holiday shifts throughout calendar year.  we have a Siemens Somatom Definition 64 slice scanner,

Position Summary:

Performs CAT Scan examinations on patients, both on a scheduled and on call basis. 

Perform all orderable CT examinations under the direction of the Chief CT Section Chief, while maintaining ALARA guidelines and adhering to the policies, procedures and protocols established by the Department of Radiology and the CT Department.

Performs duties in support of the Medical Center mission to ensure the highest quality of patient care in an economically sound and efficient manner.

Facilitates patient flow, care and provides physicians and quality information necessary to obtain diagnosis and treatment.

This applies to all ages of patients.

 

Job Requirements

 

 

Education and Training:  

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technology required.

Certified by the ARRT in Radiology

Certified by ARRT in CT

 

Experience and Knowledge:

Two years diagnostic radiography experience required

 

Registration, Licensure and/or Certification:  

CPR

                Registered in Radiology Technology

Must be CT registered or CT registry eligible at time of hire, having one (1) year from date of hire to obtain advanced CT registry certification
