Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Performs other diagnostic imaging dependent upon registration/certification. Reports to: Director Diagnostic Services Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Drag Edit Delete Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Drag Edit Delete When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Drag Edit Delete Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. Drag Edit Delete Prepares equipment and supplies. Drag Edit Delete Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Drag Edit Delete Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Drag Edit Delete Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Drag Edit Delete Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Drag Edit Delete Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.
