CSTO Staffing Coordinator - Hybrid

**Description**
PeaceHealth is seeking a day 0.75 FTE CSTO Staffing Coordinator for the Columbia Network. This hybrid role requires the incumbent be onsite approximately 30% of the time.
The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $23.80 – $35.70. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.
**Job Summary**
This position is responsible for the day-to-day deployment of caregivers, to meet operational needs in assigned departments within their Network, adjusting staffing based on census and patient acuity, as well as forecasting staffing needs for next shift. Also responsible for coordinating and communicating staffing decisions with appropriate leadership.

+ Partners with managers to ensure consistent and balance staffing on a 24-hour basis.
+ Maintains staffing and scheduling records with My Time, ensuring all changes are accurately documented.
+ Uses PeaceHealth communication tools to locate, find and contact caregivers who can cover sick calls or other open, same day shifts.
+ Interprets and accurately applies and follows all hospital scheduling and staffing policies.
+ Effectively communicates staffing assignments and updates with caregivers and managers.
+ May prepare, input and maintain monthly schedules for assigned units.
+ May approve time off/education requests when doing scheduling.
+ Provide reports as requested.
+ May function as a resource to nursing managers for efficient use of scheduling system.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**What you will bring:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
+ Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service.
+ Scheduling and staffing experience preferred.
+ Experience working in Healthcare preferred.
**Additional skills:**
+ Skills in problem solving and organizing and disseminating information.
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Proficient computer/keyboarding skills including MS Office applications.
+ Ability to multi-task and work in an environment with multiple interruptions and successful follow through.
**Working Conditions**
+ Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.
+ Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
+ Sedentary work.
+ Predominantly operates in an office environment.
+ Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
+ The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
