The CSR Partnerships Manager will lead Thermo Fisher Scientific's engagement with community organizations, demonstrating a deep passion for project and event management. If you love being in the details, this is the role for you. The ideal candidate has outstanding organizational skills and takes a proactive approach to building relationships, communicating openly and finding middle ground. The Manager coordinates across the company to support our partnerships with best-in-class nonprofit organizations, delivering on detailed action plans and shared goals that positively impact society.

What will you do?

Partnership ManagementHelp develop, and implement, nonprofit partner strategy and evaluation to ensure maximum impactLead partnerships, supporting end-to-end partner experience and holding all parties accountable to achieving shared resultsServe as primary point of contact for all partnership-related activitiesBuild consensus among partners, driving all parties to resolutionChampion internal engagement by including opportunities for colleague involvementContinuously learn STEM/health equity landscapes to ensure we are best positioned through our partnership strategyWorking with Sr. Manager, to source and review potential new partnershipsProject ManagementWork cross functionally, holding all internal partners accountable to ensure successful execution, and delivering on program objectives within the proposed timelines.Provide timely and accurate reporting of the positive impact of our programs on communities and colleagues.Develop and drive detailed project plans with a high tolerance for ambiguity and capacity to adapt with agility. Ability to navigate uncertain or complex dynamics amidst multiple priorities.Empower and influence internal partners at every level of the organization to advance decision making and enable the changes required for success.Event ManagementBuild the annual partnership event strategy to include events large and small, hosted internally and externally, that increase partner benefits, involve colleagues, and promote brand awareness.Manage a portfolio of social impact events from concept to post event reconciliation. Events will range from large scale, produced awards ceremonies to local community events, typically supporting our commitments to STEM education, health equity and colleague involvement.Maintain event budgets, accurately forecasting to ensure program expenses remain at target and resources are well allocatedQualificationsBachelor’s Degree required5+ years of project management experience, partnership management experience, and/or events management experience with 3+ years in a healthcare companyStrong attention to detail and project management capabilities with versatility to translate strategic imperatives into tangible execution while navigating ambiguityAbility to lead multiple projects at once while working in a collaborative cross-functional team.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate topics/jargon into concise lay language for a range of audiences and to distill and explain sophisticated concepts simply and visually via PowerPoint.Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of colleagues, including those more senior.Passionate about creating impact and positively contributing to a high energy, high volume team environment.Business travel for internal and external meetings as needed (
