Job Description:
Responsibilities for this position include utilizing advanced skills to perform preventative and corrective maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment for all data center(s) assigned and maintaining mission-critical uptime of 99.999% or higher. Other responsibilities include vendor management, scheduling and documentation control. Must build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Technical Assistance Associate team (TAC) and provide hands-on training as required.Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
24x7 facility on-call responsibilityMonitor and maintain the operations, maintenance and repair of all mission-critical equipment and systems supporting 24x7 data center operators to achieve 99.999% uptime and 100% compliance with all customer SLAs.Vendor relationship managementRead and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, project plans and other technical documents.Drive change toward operational excellence goals. Identify constraints and propose solutionsAssist in disaster recovery "dry run" exercisesAssist in commissioning effortsMaintain AHJ requirementsMaintain and implement change windows per company policies.Assist in the provisioning of power for customer orders and other electrical modifications as assigned while maintaining a safe work environmentAssist with off-hours and weekend maintenance activities when required.Assist with reports on customer utilization, including space and power.Be able to read and prepare Method of Procedures (MOP) & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all maintenance and operational aspects of the data center. Perform the assigned facility(s) rounds to ensure proper equipment operation, aesthetics, and cleanliness.Monitoring/alerting of facility equipmentPerform other duties as assigned by managementRequired Qualifications
2 Years of data center experience4+ years of experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting/problem solvingExperience working with building automation4+ years of experience within a critical infrastructure environment.An understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations, including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAH unitsApplicable military experienceApplicable trade experiencePreferred Qualifications
Electrical or mechanical certifications (Associates degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline)5+ years of experience working in data centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operationMeets/exceeds functional/technical depth and complexityPhysical Requirements

Hourly Pay Range:
Hourly pay range for this position is estimated to be ($37.21 - $42.89).
