Join us as a Credit Specialist, where you will partner Private Bankers in delivering end-to-end credit solutions to High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients based in International and Domestic markets. This includes driving new balance growth and retaining existing balances, all within the Risk appetite of the Bank and the Regulatory environment in which we operate.
You will be expected to manage and grow Credit balances across our business, while managing Credit facilities through their lifecycle, including annual reviews, amendments, and renewals. As part of your role you will lead deal teams and have responsibility for engaging key stakeholders (Risk, Legal, Tax etc) to ensure the seamless delivery of the deal. You will be expected to be a Subject Matter Expert across a range of products, including regulated mortgages, commercial real estate, and financial asset leveraging. With your deep understanding of credit risk, you will also help drive improvements within the team and contribute to the broader strategy of offering comprehensive credit services. In this senior role, you will take on a leadership position, shaping how we interact with clients and bankers while providing support across the full credit lifecycle.
To be successful as a Credit Specialist, you should have:
Significant experience as a lender across various asset classes, including regulated mortgages (CEMAP), large value real estate, and asset finance, ideally within a Private Bank.Experience in a front-line role with a demonstrated ability to deliver world class service to a demanding client base.Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead a deal team, negotiate effectively internally and externally, and balance bank risks while meeting client needs.Ability to undertake detailed financial statement analysis, whether on an individual, SPV or operating company.Expertise in structuring margin lending and mortgages to HNW and UHNW clients.Proven track record and experience in the sales, service and day to day management of credit products, along with developed credit skills.Other highly valued skills include:
