Credit Risk Analyst

Our client, a leading accounting and finance software company is actively hiring a Credit Risk Analyst to join their team in Reno, NV! This role will be hybrid, all candidates must be local.

**This is a 3 month W2 contract with benefits and paid holidays**

As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for helping customers stay a step ahead of financial losses by evaluating financial stability and fraud risk factors in order to minimize the impact on their merchants. The team is looking for someone that has a solid understanding of financial risk behaviors and patterns as well as the ability to analyze financial records including invoices, balance sheets, and bank statements.

Responsibilities:

Apply defined procedures to investigate, analyze, and resolve queued fraud and financial risk issues Make outbound calls to customers to validate payment transactions Write accurate case notes Handle any questions or escalations on suspected fraud from other business units

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in risk mitigation within the payments industry Strong research and investigative skills CFE certification is a plus
