About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Portfolio Consultant.
In this role, you will:
Monitor risk associated with the firm’s securities-based lending products.
• Evaluate securities-based loans and credit policy exception requests.
• Review daily risk reports to identify potential credit exposure items for resolution.
• Interact with internal business partners to work out problem resolution, and interacting with senior consultants and manager where escalation is needed.
• Conduct analysis and preparing calculations in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, interpretations, and/or methodologies.
• Ensure proper documentation of loan reviews.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• 5+ years of risk management or finance experience preferably in the retail brokerage or financial services industry.
• Strong analytical and PC abilities, as well as the ability to learn complex margin regulations and put them into practice.
• The candidate should be able to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• The candidate must work well in a team environment
