Credit Analyst

Scope of Role:

Reporting to the Collections Manager, the Strategic Credit Analysts will be a key contributor managing receivables for a select group of strategic customers. The individual in this role will be a key partner of the Sales and Commercial teams helping ensure timely payment of Receivables and mitigating any risk. This role will be highly visible to Segment leaders (CFO, Sales VP, etc) and be expected to lead and contribute to AR initiatives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Contact and Negotiation

Engage with customers to negotiate payment for receivables.Analyze customer payment processes to identify and implement improvements.

Collections Management

Maximize collections and reduce delinquency for assigned strategic accounts.Review orders on credit hold and determine appropriate actions.

Relationship Building

Build strong relationships with strategic “A” customers and collaborate with sales teams.Facilitate bi-monthly meetings with strategic “A” customers.

Cross-Functional Communication

Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive efficient workflows and processes.

Performance Tracking

Establish KPI metrics to measure and track performance of past due invoices and collectible claims.Provide bi-monthly KPI reports to Sales Management.

Record Keeping

Maintain detailed notes and records of collection efforts.Advise internal and external customers on necessary actions for debt repayment.

Administrative Functions

Perform various administrative tasks as assigned within the department.

Professional Experience/ Qualifications

5+ years of commercial collections experience preferredBachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting (Or other related field) or equivalent experience.Advanced knowledge and experience with billing and collection proceduresExperience working in SAP, Oracle, or other large scale ERP’s preferred.Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset. Experience with PowerBi preferred.Ability to prioritize and manage a complex portfolio in a fast-paced environment.Advanced complex problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
