Credentialing Coordinator for Advanced Practice Providers

KEY FUNCTIONS:

-Responsible for all credentialing and privileging processes for the Advanced Practice Providers to include but not limited to APRN, PA, CRNA. Preparation of all credentialing packets for committee review and managed care auditing in accordance with all institutional and regulatory standards.

-Responsible for the integrity of all data elements related to the credentialing and privileging processes within the credentialing database (ECHO).

-Responsible for complete, accurate and timely preparation of credentialing and privileging documents for presentation to department chairs and committee reviewers.

-Serve as an expert resource to applicants and departments in the credentialing and privileging process.

EDUCATION:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Three years of experience in medical staff services, credentialing, accounting, auditing or other related field.

Preferred: Experience with hospital credentialing of the initial appointment and reappointment processes for the Advanced Practice Providers (APRN, PA, CRNA)
