WPHL-TV is hiring a full time Creative Services Producer!

WPHL-TV/CW is hiring a creative and motivated producer to join our Creative Services team in Philadelphia. The Creative Services Producer will be responsible for the development of cutting-edge commercials, promotions, Lifestyle Show packages and public service announcements from concept to completion.  Creative scripting, shooting and non-linear editing experience is a must. 

Responsibilities include:

Collaborate with Creative Services Director and other department staff with conceptualization and production of client commercials, packages for our Lifestyle shows, on-air station image and topical promotion with primary focus on news, weather, public affairs that are on-brand and drive results.Fill daily station logs with promotion and public service announcementsMaintain a variety of projects and work with varying production styles while employing strong client service skillsCoordinate production, including working with clients, account executives, agencies, as well as planning location(s), talent, music, voice-over and reserving any other technical pieces (cameras, vehicles, etc.) needed for projectsExtensive shooting and scripting of both short and long form spots and packages from concept to completionPerform other duties, as directed by the Creative Services Director

Requirements & Skills:

Minimum 3 years commercial, promotion, long form production experienceMust be a positive representative of PHL17 & Nexstar while on assignment throughout the Delaware Valley community. Ability to move quickly with high energy, punctuality, self-sufficiency, resourcefulness and challenge themselves technically and creatively highly desired.Advanced knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formatsContribute and manage content on station’s website (WordPress) and social media channelsProduce segments for “Weekend Philler”, a bi-weekly 30 minute variety showProduce segments for “Positively Philly”, our daily lifestyle show (launching Fall 2025)Broad understanding of marketing and designAdvanced knowledge of High-definition (HD) cameras (DSLR), motion graphics and proper lighting techniquesExhibit advanced editing expertiseA passion to stay up-to-date on production trends and continually strive to push boundariesSoftware skills required include Adobe CC Suite production package, including; Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition and Media Encoder on PC platformAble to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and ExcelPosition will require day-to-day multi-tasking, as well as managing multiple projects simultaneously with frequent change in direction and priorityMust be able to work independently or as part of a teamOccasional weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts will be requiredMust maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record as some travel may be required for client shoots and production meetings with advertisers of the stationPossess a strong understanding of fundamental design, a strong sense of color, typography, and compositionMeet all deadlines, fulfill scheduling commitments, and consistently achieve quick turnarounds in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environmentWorking Knowledge of Wide Orbit, WordPress and ENPS Software preferred, but not required
