The Creative Services Photographer Editor will produce compelling visual news video and live shots by utilizing their artistic, technical expertise and composition skills . + Capture video and edit stories for daily newscasts + Collaborate with producers on video elements of newscasts + Shoot and edit news video stories, including daily news and lifestyle show segment + Maintain and operate camera equipment as well as company vehicle safely and efficiently + Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments, logistics and shot requirements + Sets up, composes and executes video shots + Edits video clips for television broadcasts and eMedia content + Performs other duties as assigned Requirements & Skills : + Bachelor`s degree or equivalent in broadcasting, journalism, or related field preferred + Minimum two years’ experience operating video recording equipment (More for larger markets and less for smaller markets) + Ability to edit raw video to newscast form in a manner to complete the story for the viewer + Video photography experience preferred Must be detail-oriented + Maintains positive work environment through active team participation and cooperation with co-workers in all departments + Responds positively to feedback + Present professional image as a representation of the station at all times Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
